Environmental and social policy

Our entire environmental and social policy was affected in a most positive manner in August 2011.

A.C.Cooper took the decision to exercise a break clause in the current lease and relocate to a smaller and much more manageable property based in the heart of London’s Mayfair. The studio benefitted from a complete refurbishment using a handful of locally sourced tradesmen. In addition, the demise was completely rewired with cat cabling and energy efficient lighting to enable the company to operate more efficiently in a digital age.

Our approach to the environment as a result, is to consider and execute new methods of working and our attitude towards reducing our carbon footprint is a positive one. Recycling and the reduction of waste is at the forefront of our policy. We are proud contributors via our waste recycling partners to the small steps project. This is a charity currently involved with building nurseries for homeless children living in Cambodia and once built will provide food, shelter, clothing and medical aid for the children and their families and will continue to provide and support people all over the world wherever possible.

For a little over a year now, we have been members of a leading car club which gives us access to a fleet of energy efficient cars including biofuel vehicles. We also use London taxis, public transport and even the Barclays bicycle hire scheme where possible.

We are currently actively looking at ways of invoicing and sending statements to our clients electronically and would encourage our suppliers and customers to do the same.
